Topic outline
Robocode is a programming game, where the goal is to develop a robot battle tank to battle against other tanks in Java or .NET. The robot battles are running in real-time and on-screen.Installing RoboCode
To install RoboCode on the school network I will be following the instructions on the RoboWiki-GettingStarted page. For simplified instructions look at the Joger Install HowTo below.
First Robot
Now you have installed RoboCode you should be able to follow the instructions on My First Robot, program your first robot and enter your first Battle.
Battle Hardened Robots
Once you have created your first robot you can explore the features of RoboCode and develop robots with greater intelligence and warrior prowess.
If you think you have got a battle-hardened bot then upload it as a package to the JOGER ROBOT-BASE at the top of the page and set it against other JogBots.Examples
